Key Responsibilities
As an Election Assistant, you will handle administrative tasks crucial to the democratic process, including:
- Voter registration and election administration.
- Maintaining organized files and inventory control.
- Operating office and specialized mailing equipment.

- Communicating with the public regarding election laws.
Minimum Qualifications
To qualify for this role through Government Jobz, you must meet one of the following:
- Option 1: One year of full-time experience in customer relations, data entry, or recordkeeping (paid or volunteer).
- Option 2: Six months of experience specifically in a California voter registration and elections office.
Requirements: Must possess a valid Class C California Driver’s License and be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Some roles may require bilingual skills or forklift certification.
Examination & Application Process
