Databricks Data Engineer – Hybrid Role

Core Responsibilities
As a Databricks Data Engineer found through Government Jobz, you will:
- Build scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for batch and streaming data.
- Optimize Lakehouse solutions using Apache Spark and Delta Lake.
- Work with Azure services including Azure Data Factory, Synapse, and SQL DB.
- Develop stream-processing systems with Kafka or Azure Stream Analytics.
- Write maintainable Python and SQL code in Databricks notebooks.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.
Essential Skills & Experience
To qualify for this position on Government Jobz, you must have:
- 7+ years in Data Engineering with strong Spark/Databricks experience.
- Mandatory: Databricks Certified Professional credential.
- Expertise in Python, SQL, and distributed data processing.
- Experience with tools like Airflow, dbt, Snowflake, or Redshift.
- A solid understanding of Git and DevOps for data platforms.
