Role Description & Duties

As an Air Conditioning Mechanic II, you will work independently to perform skilled preventive maintenance. Key responsibilities include operating, repairing, and overhauling various air conditioning, refrigeration, and ventilation systems. Minimum Qualification Requirements

  • Experience: Two (2) years of work experience as a fully competent Air Conditioning Mechanic in repair and maintenance.
  • Supervisory Aptitude: Applicants must demonstrate the potential to lead a team or have completed supervisory training.
  • Legal Authorization: Must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident alien, or eligible under federal law for unrestricted employment.
  • Driver’s License: A valid driver’s license is required at the time of appointment.

Mandatory Certification

In compliance with the EPA Clean Air Act, a Universal Technician Certification is required. You must submit a copy of this certificate with your application, or it will be rejected. Government Jobz recommends double-checking all attachments before submission.
