Job Description
The Assistant Director provides operational support to the Director of Respiratory Care. This role involves managing staff, ensuring quality assurance, and coordinating services throughout the 456-bed teaching hospital. You will be responsible for evaluating personnel, justifying staffing patterns, and managing budgets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administrative leadership in the absence of the Director.
- Supervising Respiratory Care Practitioners and support staff.
- Oversight of outpatient services and diagnostic areas.
- Counseling staff on conduct, attendance, and performance.
Minimum Requirements
To qualify for this position on Government Jobz, you must possess:
- License: Current CA Respiratory Care Practitioner license.
- Registration: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) from the NBRC.
- Certifications: BLS, PALS, NRP, and ACLS are mandatory.
- Experience: 2 years of supervisory experience in Respiratory Therapy.
