Job Overview
This is a 10-month, full-time position (100%) at Waiahole Elementary. As part of the Government Jobz network, we ensure you stay updated on competitive public sector roles. You will be responsible for classroom instruction, curriculum planning, and student development for Grade 6 learners.
Minimum Qualifications
To qualify for this role via Government Jobz, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- A Bachelor’s Degree is mandatory for all teacher, librarian, and counselor roles.
- Hires without a completed Teacher Education Program have 3 years to obtain a valid Hawaii teaching license.
- Active pursuit of licensing through the Hawaii Teacher Standards Board (HTSB) is required annually.
- Candidates must possess a valid Hawaii teaching license or an Emergency Hire Permit upon start.
