The Port of San Diego is seeking a seasoned financial leader for the Financial Services Manager position. This role oversees critical functions including accounting, payroll, financial reporting, and the Port’s Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR). Essential Responsibilities

• Manage accounting, financial analysis, and financial reporting sections.
• Direct accounts payable, receivable, general ledger, and payroll operations.
• Coordinate the development and administration of District-wide budgets.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, GASB, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead month-end and year-end closing activities and coordinate with auditors.
• Oversee SAP financial module support and maintenance.
• Promote workplace diversity and professional development for staff.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• Experience: 8+ years of professional accounting experience, including 3 years in a supervisory role.
• License: Valid California Class C Driver’s License.
