The Position
According to Government Jobz, the Parking Services Division needs a detail-oriented technician to manage revenue tracking, monthly billing, and financial reporting. You will work within the Fiscal Team to reconcile business lines and provide high-quality customer service. While remote work is possible, you must live in the Sacramento region to report to worksites when needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Audit materials and ensure all system entries are accurate.
- Identify financial inconsistencies and perform corrective entries.
- Prepare State, Federal, and local financial claims and statements.
- Coordinate accounting activities across various City departments.
- Prepare data for annual auditors’ reports and manage delinquent accounts.
Minimum Qualifications
To qualify for this role via Government Jobz, candidates need:
- Experience: Three years of responsible experience in financial, fiscal, or statistical record keeping.
- Education: Completion of specialized courses in accounting and business practices.
- Knowledge: Mastery of modern office equipment and basic accounting principles.
Selection Process
The selection involves an application screening (Pass/Fail) followed by a Training and Experience Exam (Weighted 100%). Top-ranking candidates will be placed on an eligible list for one year.
