Core Responsibilities
As an RN IC, you will provide advanced nursing care in critical settings. Your duties include:
- Organizing and implementing complex care plans for assigned patients.
- Performing advanced assessments (e.g., EKG interpretation, fetal monitoring).
- Administering specialized medications and managing IV therapy/arterial lines.
- Supervising and mentoring other nursing staff and students.
- Participating in quality assurance and clinical auditing processes.

Required Qualifications
- Education: Graduation from an approved/recognized nursing program.
- Licensure: Current practicing license with the College of Registered Nurses of Newfoundland and Labrador (CRNNL).
- Advanced Training: Willingness to complete ACLS, NRP, and TNCC within employer-designated timeframes.
- Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Clearance: A satisfactory Certificate of Conduct is mandatory.
