Job Summary & Duties
The Investigator V role at Government Jobz involves conducting complex and confidential investigations for civil and criminal cases. Unlike Tier IV, Tier V investigators handle the most diverse cases, including those involving government misconduct, organized crime, and career criminals.
- Interrogate witnesses, complainants, and suspects.
- Collaborate with military and federal law enforcement agencies.
- Present evidence and testify during grand jury and jury trials.
- Investigate fraud, malfeasance, and local ordinance violations.
Minimum Qualification Requirements

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Police Science, Sociology, Psychology, or Public Administration.
- Experience: 3 years of law enforcement or investigational experience.
- Specialized Experience: At least 6 months of full-time criminal investigative work.
- License: Valid Hawaii State Driver’s License (Type 3).
Required Knowledge & Abilities
