What You Will Do
As part of the Solid Waste Education team, a typical day might involve:
- Supporting outreach at farmers markets, community fairs, and workshops.
- Assisting with “cart tagging” and contamination remediation campaigns.
- Helping lead educational tours at the Waste to Energy facility.
- Collecting data for event reporting and materials collection projects.
- Organizing litter picking events as a Waste Ambassador.

Minimum Qualifications
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent (Current students in environmental fields preferred).
- License: Valid driver’s license is required.
- Physical: Ability to move equipment weighing up to 40 pounds.
