  • 💰 Salary: $43,000 – $55,000 Annually + Uncapped Commission

Key Responsibilities

The Business Development Specialist is responsible for the front end of the sales cycle. Your daily mission includes:

  • Outbound Prospecting: Making 50–100 B2B calls and emails daily to identify and qualify new business opportunities.
  • Appointment Setting: Scheduling high-quality meetings for the Outside Sales Team to close janitorial and maintenance contracts.
  • CRM Management: Using Microsoft Dynamics to meticulously track interactions, set follow-ups, and manage lead pipelines.
  • Market Research: Identifying businesses within the Lower Mainland that would benefit from City Wide’s 20+ facility services.
  • Digital Engagement: Utilizing social media platforms (like LinkedIn) to build relationships and generate interest.

Qualifications & Skills

City Wide is looking for a “hunter” mentality. Ideal candidates possess:

  • 1–3 years of experience in B2B outbound sales, telemarketing, or lead generation.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to handle objections and build rapport quickly.
  • A self-motivated attitude with a focus on meeting and exceeding daily activity metrics.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with CRM software.
  • A high school diploma (required); a college degree is preferred.
