Available Shifts
This position offers flexibility through two distinct shift options, both totaling 19 hours per week:
- Before Care Shift: Mon-Fri (6:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.)
- After Care Shift: Mon-Fri (1:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.)
Daily Duties & Impact
As part of the MAC classroom staff, you will play a vital role in integrating educational aspects of Head Start. Responsibilities found via Government Jobz include:
- Assisting the lead classroom teacher with daily activities.
- Providing children with a safe and stimulating learning environment.
- Engaging children in varied experiences to foster emotional and physical growth.
- Ensuring all Head Start educational standards are met daily.
Minimum Qualifications
To qualify for this position through Government Jobz, candidates must have:
- A High School Diploma or GED.
- A valid Driver’s License.
- Tennessee Residency: Must be a TN resident or become one within six months of hire.
- Preferred: Previous experience working with young children.
