Location: Newton Abbot, Devon (TQ12 2PL)
Shifts: 12-hour days and nights (8 AM – 8 PM / 8 PM – 8 AM) including weekends
Job Type: Full-time / Permanent
Role & Responsibilities
As a Support Worker through Government Jobz, you will help adults with autism or learning disabilities live fulfilling lives. Your tasks include:
- Assisting with personal care (washing, dressing, and eating).
- Promoting independent living and facilitating social activities.
- Supporting residents at medical appointments and liaising with specialists.
- Monitoring and recording emotional and physical wellbeing.
- Handling light housekeeping and safe manual lifting/transferring.
