Key Responsibilities

This role, discovered through Government Jobz, involves working in a non-teaching capacity to provide high-quality support. Your duties will include:

• Supporting students with diverse and complex learning needs within a classroom setting.
• Assessing individual learner requirements and implementing support strategies.
• Updating support documents, including exam access arrangements and EHCP reviews.
• Assisting with student transitions, enrolment, and induction processes.
• Collaborating with specialist tutors and external professionals to foster student independence.

What You Bring to the Team

To qualify for this position on Government Jobz, you should have:

• Level 2 Maths and English (or equivalent).
• Previous experience supporting individuals with learning difficulties or disabilities.
• Knowledge of inclusion issues and self-advocacy.
• Strong communication skills and a tolerant, confidential approach.
• Flexibility to work across various college campuses as needed.
