The City of Riverside is seeking a data-driven visionary for the role of Performance Analyst within the Organization Performance & Audit Division. Featured on Government Jobz, this high-impact position reports directly to the City Manager’s Office and is responsible for driving efficiency, transparency, and innovation across all municipal departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Operational Audits: Lead research and execution of reviews to improve operational effectiveness and departmental efficiency.
• Strategy Design: Implement performance measures aligned with City Council priorities and strategic goals.
• Collaboration: Work with subject-matter experts, local universities, and entrepreneurs to solve complex municipal challenges.
• Reporting: Provide comprehensive oral and written reports to elected officials and executive management.
• Risk Management: Identify control gaps and develop recommendations to strengthen service delivery.

Qualifications & Desirable Traits

To qualify through Government Jobz, candidates must possess:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public Administration, or Organizational Development (Qualifying experience may substitute for up to 2 years of education).
• Experience: Three years of experience in performance review, audit, or business analysis (government environment preferred).
