Salary Differentials & Bonuses
- $10,000 Bonus: For Special Education teachers with a Hawaii license (Pro-Rated).
- $5,000 Bonus: For National Board Certification (Pro-Rated).
Minimum & Preferred Qualifications
According to Government Jobz, candidates should meet the following:
- Minimum: Bachelor’s Degree.
- Preferred: Valid Special Education license from the Hawaii Teacher Standards Board.
- Requirement: If hired without a license, you must complete a Teacher’s Education Program within 3 years.
