Role Summary

As an Accounting Supervisor, you will lead the accounting staff and manage the documentation, disbursement, and reporting of financial data. Essential Duties

• Supervise daily activities of the accounting group and provide technical training.
• Review and approve financial documents for accuracy and compliance with Federal and State policies.
• Recruit and evaluate staff while identifying operational improvements.
• Reconcile transactions and correct accounting records as needed.
• Liaise with villages, departments, and outside agencies to standardize procedures.

Qualifications

According to Government Jobz, the following requirements apply:

• Education: High school graduate/GED or 12 years of combined education and work experience.
• Experience: 4 years of computerized accounting work and 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Knowledge: Strong grasp of accounting principles, record keeping, and specialized financial software.
