Key Responsibilities

- Performing comprehensive assessments of medication requirements and therapeutic plans.
- Participating in daily clinical rounds and providing individual or group patient counseling.
- Conducting medication reconciliation and computer-based pharmacokinetic monitoring.
- Collaborating with physicians and nurses to optimize dosage and administration routes.
- Supervising Pharmacy Technicians and distribution services within the Central Zone.
- Facilitating drug utilization reviews and staff in-services on new medical therapies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree.
- Successful completion of the Pharmacy Examining Board of Canada (PEBC) National Exam.
- Current licensure with the Newfoundland and Labrador Pharmacy Board.
- Professional Health Care (PhC) designation is required.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and Meditech system experience.
