Physical/Occupational Therapy Specialist (Non-Treating Case Manager)

The Role
This position (officially titled Medical Therapy Specialist) serves the California Children’s Services (CCS) program. Unlike traditional clinical roles, this is a non-treating case management position focused on program administration and quality control. You will determine medical eligibility, coordinate discharge planning with hospitals, and help families access durable medical equipment (DME).
Minimum Requirements
To qualify for this career through Government Jobz, you must meet the following license and experience standards:
1. Licensure (One of the following):
- Valid California Physical Therapist (PTBC) license.
- Valid California Occupational Therapist (BOT) license.
2. Experience (One of the following):
- 18 Months: Full-time experience in a California Children’s Services (CCS) program.
- 30 Months: Full-time experience in a rehabilitation setting.
Desired Qualifications
The ideal candidate on Government Jobz will have experience in pediatric outpatient rehab, custom DME assessments, or lead/supervisory roles.
Conditions of Employment
- Successful background investigation, fingerprinting, and drug screening.
- Must have the legal right to work in the U.S. (No Visa sponsorship).
- Willingness to travel throughout San Bernardino County.
