Role Overview
The Education Network is looking for qualified Teachers or Tutors to provide essential support for secondary students educated at home due to anxiety and mental health needs. Featured on Government Jobz, this long-term opportunity allows you to work in a calm community setting, delivering trauma-informed tuition to help young people re-engage with learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver 1:1 tuition sessions (1 hour per student).
- Support up to 6 students per day in a nurturing environment.
- Assist young people with SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) needs.
- Provide a flexible, child-centered approach to education.
- Collaborate with professionals to help students overcome barriers to mainstream school.
Candidate Requirements

- Qualified Teacher status (QTS) or significant experience as an educator/tutor.
- Proven experience working with SEMH, anxiety, or medically educated students.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and trauma-informed practice.

- Must hold a valid Enhanced DBS check.
