Job Summary
Wearside Women In Need (WWIN) is seeking a dedicated Groupwork Facilitator to join their Outreach and Advocacy team in Sunderland. This role, proudly featured on Government Jobz, is vital for providing safe spaces and support for survivors of domestic abuse.

Key Responsibilities
As a facilitator, you will lead sessions and manage casework for service users. Essential tasks include:
- Delivery: Facilitating programs like Freedom Programme, Power to Change, and DART.
- Support: Creating safety plans, risk assessments, and providing pastoral follow-ups.
- Admin: Maintaining OASIS database notes and preparing session resources.
- Engagement: Welcoming service users and conducting check-in calls for those on waiting lists.
Skills & Experience
To qualify for this position found on Government Jobz, candidates should have:
- Proven experience in groupwork or facilitation.
- Deep knowledge of domestic abuse, mental health, and substance misuse.
- A feminist understanding of women’s issues and professional boundary management.
- Resilience and the ability to work under pressure.
- An Enhanced DBS check is required.
