This role offers a unique “In-Training” plan. If you don’t meet the full Fiscal Analyst 3 requirements, you may be hired as a Fiscal Analyst 1 or 2. Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Invoice Management: Process payments for Motor Pool, leases, telecom, and more using Microsoft Excel.
- Tax Reporting: Handle 1099 MISC, Use Tax returns, and unclaimed property filings with the Department of Revenue.
- Warrant Control: Manage uncashed warrants, research invalid addresses, and handle reissues.
- Purchase Cards: Serve as the Agency Purchase Card Administrator, managing spending limits and troubleshooting declines.
- Reconciliation: Balance general ledgers and prepare year-end closing reports.
Minimum Qualifications

- Fiscal Analyst 2: High School Diploma + 3 years of accounting experience. (Relevant college credits can substitute for experience).
- Fiscal Analyst 3: High School Diploma + 4 years of accounting experience.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or budgeting and proficiency in AFRS (Agency Financial Reporting System).
