Key Duties and Responsibilities
As a Harbor Agent II, you will manage harbor operations for light and medium draft vessels. Responsibilities include:
- Managing vessel berths and regulating harbor movement.
- Handling billing, fee collections, and enforcing harbor regulations.
- Inspecting boats and maintaining harbor facilities.
- Monitoring commercial activities like surf contests, canoe regattas, and fishing charters within three miles of the shore.
Minimum Qualification Requirements
To qualify for this role via Government Jobz, applicants must meet these standards:
- Legal Work Authorization: Must be a US citizen, national, or permanent resident.
- Basic Education: High school diploma or equivalent (ability to read, write, and perform arithmetic).
- General Experience: Two (2) years of full-time work involving person-to-person relationships, applying rules, and preparing reports.
- License: A valid driver’s license is required at the time of appointment.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 25 lbs unassisted (some roles may require up to 50 lbs assisted).
