Key Responsibilities

• Planning & Management: Create project plans and Statements of Work. Keep stakeholders informed on progress.
• Budget Control: Track actual costs against plans using Microsoft Project and internal systems.
• Team Leadership: Manage internal staff and third-party sub-contractors to meet quality standards.
• Risk Management: Assess, report, and mitigate project risks and issues proactively.
• Documentation: Maintain Change Logs, Decision Logs, and project dashboards (Backlog stats, Burndown graphs).
• Quality Assurance: Work with Solution Architects to verify deliverables and manage system changes.
• Methodology: Contribute to the improvement of project delivery best practices.

The Ideal Candidate

To succeed in this role listed on Government Jobz, you should have:

• Proven track record in full software implementation lifecycles.
• Experience managing projects over 750 man-days and teams of 10+ people.
• Expertise in Microsoft Office, Project, Excel, and SharePoint.
• Certifications: Prince 2 Practitioner or APM professional preferred.
• Methodologies: Experience in Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and tools like Jira, VSTS, or TFS.
