Primary Duties and Responsibilities
The Program Specialist III plays a key role in supporting community welfare. Key duties include:
- Analyzing program operations and researching changes in state and federal laws.
- Communicating with community groups and agencies regarding homeless concerns.
- Developing training programs and corrective action plans for program deficiencies.
- Assisting in budget requests, grant development, and legislative proposals.
- Providing technical assistance and interpreting program rules for staff and public partners.
Minimum Qualifications
