Key Responsibilities

• Conduct specialized investigations for criminal, civil, and juvenile cases.
• Locate and interview witnesses, victims, and suspects.
• Write search/arrest warrants and serve subpoenas.
• Collect and preserve crime scene evidence and testify in court.
• Provide lead direction and training to investigative staff.
• Collaborate with local, state, and federal law enforcement partners.

Minimum Qualifications

To qualify for this role via Government Jobz, you should have:

• Experience: Two years as an Investigator (District Attorney) or equivalent.
• Certificates: A valid California driver’s license and a P.O.S.T. intermediate certificate.
• Skills: Mastery in crime scene protection, arrest procedures, and investigative reporting.
• Availability: Willingness to work off-hours or on a call-out basis.
