Salary: $25.62 to $27.70 hourly (Negotiable)

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook complete meals and special dietary dishes (allergies/intolerances).
• Follow instructions from dietitians or chefs for patient-specific meals.
• Supervise and train kitchen staff and helpers.
• Maintain inventory, order supplies, and inspect food service areas.
• Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations.
• Organize food for buffets and facility events.

Requirements & Qualifications

To qualify for this role via Government Jobz, candidates should possess:

• Education: Trade certificate, diploma, or equivalent experience.
• Credentials: Cook Trade Certification and Safe Food Handling Certificate.
• Experience: Experience is an asset.
• Security: Must pass a Criminal Record Check.
