Trainee Electrical Installations Technician – Cumbernauld

Salary: £27,000 per year + Van & Benefits
Hours: Full-time (39 hours/week, flexible start, early Friday finish)

The Opportunity
Representing a top-tier client via Government Jobz, you will join a busy team covering Cumbernauld and nearby areas. This role includes comprehensive product training and mentoring. You will deliver, install, and calibrate electrical equipment for commercial clients while handling fault diagnosis and workshop repairs.
Your Key Responsibilities
- On-site installation and calibration of electrical machinery.
- Conducting monitoring visits and diagnosing equipment faults.
- Performing electrical repairs in the workshop and maintaining a serviced vehicle.
- Participating in an out-of-hours call-out rota for emergencies.
- Collecting equipment post-hire and ensuring high customer service levels.
Requirements
To be considered for this position on Government Jobz, you need:
- A full, clean UK driving licence.
- Electrical qualifications (e.g., NVQ in Electrical Installations).
- Experience with machinery control circuits and voltage/current measurements.
- Understanding of single-phase and 3-phase electrical motors.
- Physical fitness for lifting and comfort working at heights.
