Job Responsibilities

As a driver listed on Government Jobz, your daily tasks will include:

• Safely loading/unloading the van while following food hygiene and temperature rules.
• Planning efficient driving routes to ensure timely deliveries.
• Performing heavy lifting and handling goods with care.
• Maintaining a clean vehicle and interacting professionally with customers.
• Adhering to all UK traffic laws and safety regulations.

Work Schedule & Requirements

The standard shift starts at 8:00 AM, Monday to Friday. Please note that six Saturdays are required during the busy months of November and December. Requirements for Government Jobz candidates include:

• A valid driver’s license with a clean record.
• Physical ability to lift and carry heavy items.
• Strong time management and communication skills.
• Prior experience is a plus, but full training on food hygiene is provided.
