Key Responsibilities
As a worker found through Government Jobz, your tasks will include:
- Interviewing inmates and assessing reintegration prospects.
- Developing rehabilitation and substance abuse treatment programs.
- Providing crisis and suicide intervention.
- Conducting individual and group counseling sessions.
- Managing administrative tasks, case histories, and classification reports.
- Assisting with life skills workshops and housekeeping/food prep activities.
- Supervising parent-child visits and mentoring staff or volunteers.
Requirements & Specialization
Education: College/CEGEP diploma.
Experience: 2 to 3 years in a related field.
Languages: Proficiency in French is required.
Target Audience: You will work with Aboriginal groups, youth, elderly, families, and persons with mental health disabilities.
