Eligibility, Fee & Selection Process
1. Essential Educational Qualification
- A Master‘s degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade) in the relevant subject from a recognized Indian or accredited foreign university.
- Candidates must have either:
- Cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC/CSIR, or a State Level Eligibility Test (SLET/SET).
- Or, been awarded a Ph.D. degree in accordance with the UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulations.
2. Application Fee Structure
The application fee varies based on category, gender, and domicile. It is crucial to pay the correct amount.
- General Category Male (All India) & All Reserved/Other State Candidates: ₹ 2,000
- General Category Female (Haryana Domicile): ₹ 1,000
- Male Candidates (SC/BC/ESM/EWS of Haryana only): ₹ 500
- Female Candidates (SC/BC/ESM/EWS of Haryana only): ₹ 250
- Persons with Disability (PwD) of Haryana: Nil

3. Selection Process
Candidates will be selected based on a combination of academic merit and performance in the final interview:
