Role Summary

The role involves supporting an 85-year-old woman living with dementia. The employer is looking for a warm, friendly, and upbeat female carer to join an existing care team in the local area.

Working Hours

• Daily 30-minute early evening dinner and welfare check
• Saturday lunchtime support
• Alternative Sunday lunch outings
• Additional hours available to cover sickness and leave

Main Duties

• Medication prompting and administering
• Personal care and grooming
• Assistance with eating and drinking
• Companionship and social outings
• Transportation to local cafes, pubs, and activities
• Bathroom assistance
• Other reasonable duties as required

Candidate Requirements

• Female applicant (Equality Act 2010 exemption applies)
• Full UK driving licence and own vehicle
• Patient, honest, cheerful, and respectful
• Good communication skills in English
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions
• Comfortable working in a smoking/vaping environment
• Strong awareness of health and safety standards
