Role Summary
This is a permanent, full-time on-site role for an experienced Press Operator. According to the latest listings on Government Jobz, candidates need a high school diploma and 2-3 years of experience with Offset or Web presses.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, adjust, and operate presses to check quality samples.
- Review job orders for color sequence, quantities, and production time.
- Mount plates/cylinders and control ink viscosity and flow.
- Use computer control consoles to monitor production runs.
- Direct and instruct press crews and apprentices.
