Key Responsibilities

As a driver listed on Government Jobz, you will operate articulated trucks for regional and national transport. Your tasks include:

• Performing pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Loading/unloading goods and securing cargo with tarps.
• Maintaining logbooks, trip reports, and fuel consumption records.
• Performing preventive maintenance and emergency roadside repairs.
• Coordinating with dispatch and driving as part of a two-person team.

Drivers must be willing to travel for extended periods and operate manual transmission vehicles. This role is physically demanding and requires a high level of reliability.
