Job Summary

Location: 184 Adolphus Street, Saint Andrews, NB E5B 1T7

Salary: $75,000 annually for 40 hours/week

Terms: Permanent, Full-time (Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend)

Start Date: As soon as possible

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate through Government Jobz will handle the following tasks:

  • Management: Plan and direct food preparation for several restaurants, supervise chefs, cooks, and specialist kitchen staff.
  • Operations: Estimate food/labor costs, maintain inventory records, and analyze operating data.
  • Culinary Excellence: Create new recipes, prepare specialty meals, and ensure food meets high-quality standards.
  • Staff Training: Demonstrate new techniques, recruit staff, and instruct team members on presentation and food safety.
  • Events: Consult with clients for weddings, banquets, and special functions.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 5 years or more in a high-level kitchen environment.
  • Credential: Valid Safe Food Handling certificate.
  • Physical: Ability to handle heavy loads (up to 23 kg / 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
