Core Responsibilities
As a Head Chef listed on Government Jobz, you will be responsible for multiple restaurants and a team of 16-20 people. Primary tasks include:
- Planning menus and ensuring food meets strict quality standards for Italian and Canadian cuisine.
- Supervising specialist chefs, cooks, and sous-chefs.
- Estimating food and labor costs, sales, and inventory records.
- Recruiting, hiring, and training new kitchen staff.

- Demonstrating new cooking techniques and equipment.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
This is a fast-paced, on-site role that requires physical stamina. You will work in various conditions including hot, cold/refrigerated, and noisy environments.
