Employment Requirements
Language: English
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years in heavy machinery operation
Physical Capabilities: The position is physically demanding and requires excellent manual dexterity.
Key Responsibilities & Tasks
Selected operators will safely manage heavy machinery and execute diverse construction environment tasks, including:
- Operate heavy equipment and conduct thorough pre-operational checks
- Utilize various machinery to load, unload, and move products or materials
- Shovel cement and other supplies into mixers, and spread concrete or asphalt on roads using shovels, rakes, and hand tampers
- Operate pile driving cranes to drive structural pilings into the earth for building support
- Operate machinery equipped with dredging attachments to clear out waterways and targeted areas
- Drive and operate air-track or related drilling machines to bore large blast holes at staked positions in open-pit mines, quarries, road sites, or construction zones
