Primary Responsibilities

The Help Desk Technician serves as the first line of defense for customer inquiries. Your core focus will be:

  • First-Level Support: Troubleshooting internet connectivity, hosting, and email issues via phone, chat, and email.
  • Account Management: Assisting users with password resets, credential management, and basic billing inquiries.
  • Technical Triage: Diagnosing hardware and software problems, resolving them where possible, or escalating to Tier 2 technicians.
  • Documentation: Recording all interactions and technical steps in the company’s ticketing system to ensure service continuity.
  • Customer Care: Providing step-by-step guidance to non-technical users in a calm and professional manner.

Requirements & Qualifications

Uniserve is looking for high-energy individuals who are passionate about technology. Key requirements include:

  • Education: A certificate or diploma in Information Technology or Computer Science.
  • Technical Aptitude: Fundamental understanding of networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, IP addressing).
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written English skills for customer-facing interactions.
  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, patience, and a customer-first mindset.
  • Assets: Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, or CompTIA A+ certification is highly valued.
