JOB RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS
The Home Support Worker will be responsible for a variety of caregiving and household support tasks, including:
- Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, personal hygiene, dressing, and feeding
- Health Support: Administer medications and change non-sterile dressings
- Mobility & Exercise: Assist in regular exercise, such as walking
- Nutrition: Prepare and serve nutritious meals; cook for clients
- Household Management: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
- Laundry Care: Launder clothing and household linens; mend clothing and linens as needed
- Companionship: Provide meaningful companionship and emotional support
