Core Responsibilities
As an L.P.N. I at NL Health Services, you will perform the following duties:
- Provide patient care and assessments under the direction of a Registered Nurse or Physician.
- Administer medications and treatments while monitoring for side effects.
- Assist with care plans and document patient progress accurately in medical charts.
- Perform clinical tasks such as wound care, vital signs monitoring, and specimen collection.
- Promote a safe environment through family-centered care and effective communication.

Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Graduation from an approved Practical Nursing program.
- Licensure: Current registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Newfoundland and Labrador (CLPNNL).
- Certification: Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Personal Suitability: Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to core healthcare values (Compassion, Accountability, Respect).
- Clearance: A satisfactory Certificate of Conduct from the RCMP or local police authority.
