Key Responsibilities

The Plant Controller oversees the financial health of the facility through rigorous analysis and strategic planning:

• Yield & Raw Material Analysis: Determining milk payments and producing periodic performance analyses on material usage.
• Financial Operations: Supporting month-end closing activities, including labor, volume, and expense reconciliations.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Leading the development of the plant’s manufacturing budget and cost calculations (variable and fixed).
• Operational Partnership: Assisting the management team in developing KPIs to identify cost-reduction opportunities and operational synergies.
• Decision Support: Providing data-driven insights to help leadership implement productivity measures and capital investment projects.

Requirements & Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must bring a blend of technical expertise and leadership skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing or plant environment.
• Certification: A CPA designation is considered a significant asset.
• Language: Functional knowledge of French is required (Quebec location); bilingualism is an asset.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel.
