Primary Responsibilities
The Product Change Specialist ensures that every ingredient, packaging, and process change is executed with clinical precision. Key duties include:
- ERP Management: Leading product setup in the ERP system, including Bills of Materials (BOMs), work instructions, and specifications.
- Regulatory Alignment: Verifying that all product details adhere to regulatory information and internal product briefs.
- Risk Assessment: Monitoring food safety risks, including heavy metal limits and ingredient compliance, for all category changes.
- Trial Support: Creating trial BOMs and system updates to support R&D and customer-specific product launches.
- Cross-Functional Liaison: Communicating change constraints and timelines to Operations, Supply Chain, and Quality teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Engineering, or a related technical field. Experience with HACCP, GMPs, and high-speed manufacturing environments is highly valued. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel are essential for success in this role.
