- Experience Needed: 1 year to less than 2 years of related kitchen work
Core Duties & Responsibilities
- Bring clean dishes, flatware, and table settings to serving zones and set dining tables.
- Clear up and clean customer tables, trays, and restaurant chairs.
- Operate commercial dishwashers and sanitize glassware, dishes, and utensils by hand.
- Place cleaned items safely into designated kitchen storage areas.
- Prepare, heat, and finish basic food orders and package take-out food items properly.
- Stock salad bars and kitchen refrigerators with required fresh supplies.
- Use electrical and manual kitchen appliances to peel, slice, clean, and trim foodstuffs.
- Wash, peel, and chop fresh vegetables and fruits daily.
- Clean and sanitize work surfaces, cupboards, storage spaces, appliances, and kitchen equipment.
- Manage, use, and store kitchen cleaning chemical products safely.
- Receive, unpack, and arrange incoming food supplies in freezers, fridges, and pantries.
- Remove daily kitchen garbage, empty trash bins, and sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
