Eligibility Criteria & Age Limits

Age Limit & Marital Status:

• IMA & INA: 19-24 Years. Must be born between 02 July 2003 and 01 July 2008. Open to unmarried male candidates only.
• Air Force Academy (AFA): 20-24 Years. Born between 02 July 2003 and 01 July 2007. Upper limit is relaxable up to 26 years for valid Commercial Pilot License (CPL) holders. Unmarried males only.
• OTA (Men): 19-25 Years. Born between 02 July 2002 and 01 July 2008. Open to unmarried male candidates.
• OTA (Women): 19-25 Years. Born between 02 July 2002 and 01 July 2008. Open to unmarried women, issueless widows, and issueless divorcees who have not remarried.

Educational Qualifications:

• IMA & OTA: Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
• Indian Naval Academy (INA): Requires a Degree in Engineering, or a B.Sc. degree with Physics and Mathematics at the 10+2 level.
• Air Force Academy (AFA): Requires a Bachelor’s Degree with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2, or a Bachelor of Engineering.

Salary Scales & Commission Benefits

Selected candidates enter as Commissioned Officers with ranks like Lieutenant (Army/Navy) or Flying Officer (Air Force). The pay scale follows Pay Level-10 (₹56,100 – ₹1,77,500). Officers receive Military Service Pay, Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, Transport Allowance, Field Area Allowance, medical facilities, ration, canteen privileges, and a secure pension plan.
