Audio Visual (AV) Assistant – Central London

Shift Pattern: 08:00 – 16:00 or 10:00 – 18:00 (Mon-Fri)

Role Summary
Working with Morgan Hunt UK Ltd, the AV Assistant handles the setup and operation of technical equipment for meetings and events. As featured on Government Jobz, you will ensure microphones, screens, and sound systems work perfectly for high-stakes presentations.
Key Responsibilities
- Setup, test, and break down AV gear (lighting, sound, video).
- On-the-spot troubleshooting during live events.
- Routine maintenance and inventory management of all hardware.
- Providing technical support and training to staff and presenters.
- Maintaining documentation for equipment setups and manuals.
Requirements & Skills
To qualify for this role on Government Jobz, candidates need:
- Proficiency with Crestron, Extron, MS Teams, and Zoom.
- Basic understanding of Microsoft 365 systems.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift up to 20kg and stand for long periods.
- GCSE Grade C/4 in English and Maths (Essential).
