You will act as a bridge between high-level strategy and technical execution, specifically supporting the National Security and Defence sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide thought leadership on hybrid cloud hosting and integration.
- Design security roadmaps and transformation plans for large-scale enterprises.
- Offer impartial assessments of vendor technology and cloud strategies.
- Develop strong relationships with C-suite leaders and stakeholders.
- Coach and mentor colleagues within the KPMG Cloud and Defence practices.
Requirements & Skills
To succeed in this position featured on Government Jobz, candidates should possess:
- Expert Knowledge: Deep understanding of AWS, Azure, GCP, and traditional on-premises security.
- Zero Trust: Experience with IdAM solutions and Zero Trust principles.
- Operating Models: Proficiency in DevOps, security testing, and auditing.
- Leadership: Ability to manage technical reviews and cloud migration tools.
- Qualifications: Industry-recognized security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, or Cloud-specific professional certs).
Work Environment and Benefits
This permanent role is based in Manchester (M2 3AE), but Government Jobz notes that KPMG offers flexible working. You can expect to be in the office or on client sites a few days a week, with some UK-wide travel required.
