Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Carpentry: Fixing furniture, tightening hinges, changing locks, and repairing cabinets or desks.
• Fabric Work: Touching up paintwork, hanging pictures, and installing/repairing blinds.
• Support: Assisting the wider maintenance team on-site and escorting sub-contractors.
• Compliance: Maintaining and updating digital and physical site logbooks.
• Customer Service: Delivering high-quality maintenance solutions to commercial clients.

Candidate Requirements

To succeed in this role, candidates must demonstrate a strong background in commercial carpentry and joinery.

• Relevant qualification in Carpentry (NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent preferred).
• Experience in a facilities management or commercial maintenance environment.
• Strong knowledge of carpentry tools and materials.
• Basic PC literacy (Word, Excel, and smartphone proficiency).
• Excellent self-motivation and time management skills.
