Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and organize planned and reactive tasks for field operatives.
  • Ensure all operations meet safety, compliance, and top customer service standards within strict deadlines.
  • Manage company fleet, plant, and equipment maintenance, calibration, and legal compliance.
  • Liaise with Head Office, depot staff, and mobile engineers to streamline scheduling.
  • Monitor operational KPIs/SLAs and implement effective performance improvements.
  • Enforce strict Health & Safety rules and foster a safety-first workplace culture.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and retention of a high-performing field team.
  • Balance duties between on-site inspections and depot office coordination.

Skills, Attributes & Requirements

  • Essential: Proven background in a similar Operations Management role.
  • Essential: Valid UK Driving Licence.
  • Desirable: Industry experience in drainage, environmental services, utilities, or construction.
