Key Responsibilities
Working through Government Jobz, you will manage a wide variety of tasks including:
- Estate Grounds: Mowing, hedge trimming, weeding, and woodland management.
- Maintenance: Repairing fences, gutters, paths, and leisure facilities like swimming pools.
- Specialist Systems: Managing Biomass heating, log burners, and irrigation systems.
- Equipment: Operating and maintaining tractors, ride-on mowers, and power tools.
- Pond Care: Cleaning and de-weeding lake and pond areas.
Requirements & Experience
To qualify for this role on Government Jobz, you should have:
- A strong background in DIY, trades, or estate maintenance.
- Proficiency with garden machinery (Tractors, mowers, strimmers).
- Horticultural knowledge and seasonal plant care experience.
- Full UK Driving Licence (Ability to tow is a plus).
- Valid PA1 and PA6 chemical spraying certificates (highly desirable).
