Main Duties & Responsibilities

This active outdoor role is essential for maintaining the local community. Your daily tasks will include:

• Waste Collection: Moving wheelie bins, bags, and recycling boxes to the refuse vehicle.
• Vehicle Operation: Safely operating bin lifting mechanisms on lorries.
• Street Cleaning: Litter picking and emptying public bins to maintain the street scene.
• Environmental Reporting: Identifying and reporting issues such as fly-tipping and potholes.
• Public Relations: Maintaining a polite and professional manner when interacting with residents.
• Safety: Assisting with vehicle safety checks and unloading waste at designated facilities.
